Current very strong but suprisingly a lot of small fish nibble nibble 'pest'. Hook up a few of these pest(Kelong Chi). We were using live prawns. Total 5 Angler on board including the boatman who is a keen fishermman himself. Caught two almost 1kg snapper, one 1kg grunter and a 7kg golden marine catfish. Seeing thunderstorm approaching, we packed up and headed back to the pier. Overall a nice way to spend your sunday

Edy... something big around the southern islands really like eating kelong chi... a few weeks back some big took off with my friend's kelong chi (night) but we failed to hook up as the hook was too small for the bait. The kelong chi we used as live bait was slightly bigger than my palm!!! I know it sounds ridiculous but its true! We were fishing on Yew Seng's boat.

Before we used the kelong chi as live bait, all three of us were really skeptical when Yew Seng and Ben told us Kelong chi made good bait! After my friend lost that fish, all of us pinned a live kelong chi on our hooks and hoped to catch that mysterious fish
