Rep Power: 0 ![]() | FIJIgging Just wanna share some pix fresh out of the cam... Dogtooth Tuna went 74kg, 1kg shy of the all-tackle Fijian record set in 1965. Should qualify for the line class record once they figure out how much the 50lb braid actually breaks at. Taken on home-made power-cropped JM400 and 665XN with fisherman andaman in approx 12mins fight time. It was brutal! Other highlight includes 30kg maori wrasse on PE-3 Poseidon - beautiful fish! |

Rep Power: 0 ![]() | Re: FIJIgging Thanks guys... The fish was taken in over 100m of water, we were fishing drops. After the take it just went straight over the shelf and down. We were fishing on a friend's boat, trip was DIY. More exploratory than anything! Will post more pix once i free up some time, up to my neck with work! Cheers |
