I'm looking for something not too pricey that can double up for both jigging and bottom fishing. Too bad the Wrex only has a PE6 for overhead models. If they had PE8 versions I would have bought a pair for the year end outing. Last edited by stickbom! : 12-06-2007 at 06:44 PM. |

The heaviest overhead model they had was a JM 500g Monster rated PE 6-10. Jason the rod builder tells me that this has to be the toughest JM blank because of the extra layers of carbon wrap and a special form of wrapping employed in the construction of this particular blank. Jason recommended this blank with an ATD-12. JM blank models change frequently so it gets very confusing, the Monster is out of production I believe (production cost was too high) so I think the current heaviest would be the JM 600g. |
