Rep Power: 3  | PENN SS8500 how to upgrade? hi people, just acquired one of these retro goldie. 1 qn. how to upgrade sia? 2 qn. the gear ratio abit low at 4.6:1. can upgrade? mine's the old version with stock drag. The drag feels feeble although this reel's seldom used. btw, looooking for 9500 too! |

Hi neub, As for the drags you can use carbontex drags,you can get it from Sabre but you need to shape it a bit or you can get the Penn HT 100 drags from Siow Chiang, Arab st.
