Hi everyone, I've got an Everol 12/0 that has developed an annoying symptom. The handle skips or slips as you reel in a fish. The handle turns but the spool does not. It first occurred after fighting a marlin and has gotten worse. The weird thing is that it only happens when the reel is being used. I cannot reproduce the error when I am back at the dock. I sent it back to the Everol factory for repair but they could not reproduce the problem either. They replaced the gear shift button. That seemed to help for two trips, but now it has returned. Anybody ever deal with this? Any suggestions as to who might help? Thanks for your time.
