Nice!!!!! Is this the handle now available from the Accurate factory & fitted as standard on all new Boss reels? How much did it cost?

is made by me !! custom made handle, a special request from my friend..
nice .. right ..

yap ... is very fitted ... around 2 cm longer then original handle.
made by 4mm stanless steel plate.

cost ....
how much you will pay for it ... i can made another one for u ...

this is not the first handle i made already .... being made for penn , daiwa, avet and etc....

Great that you have made it yourself. Thanks for the offer, but all my Boss reels are already fitted with an aftermarket offset handle. Not as cool as the one you have though.

The latest Boss also comes stock with a one piece offset handle machined out of high grade aluminium. The initial ones that I saw were "slotted" like the one you have. That is why I thought yours was from Accurate. I believe they now sell the handle as an option for older model Boss too.

The thing about after-market handles is not to go overboard i.e. go too long. The longer the handle, the more torque it will dish out, which may cause undue wear & tear or damage to the gear & bearings under extreme load conditions. Opinions differ of course.

tats great news ! wat abt a 4000p jigger handle on torsa 20 ? possible ?

Intsi dude,

Very nice work there, I like it a lot. Do you think you could build a handle of that length, that would fit a Boss Magnum 665 and an OJ4000P knob, that would rock. The best thing though is that it is stainless steel, so you don't get the corrosion issue where the aluminium handle meets the steel main gear shaft and steel handle bolt.

Hmm actually, I think its time to have a chat with my machinist buddy...

wat i meant is having a jigger 4000p handle on a torsa 20. *smile* I liked 4000p handle. :P

the securing parts has been different on both reels else i would hv my torsa handle changed long ago.. :P

should not be a problems, is depend of OJ4000 handle .. if it can be disconnected ... like i was done before...i remove daiwa frames 4500-original handle (knots only ) then put it into penn-980 with new custom made SS handle...
