Re: Shimano Ocea Jiggers

tried to grease my 4000p this afternoon.
can't seem to assemble back the gear side plate. there's a slight gap of 1-2mm that i can't seem to flush it.
dun thin i have lost any screws or spring... in the end jus put every little compoment into a ziplock.
any idea, how much TTC or any shops charge to assemble it back?

Sorry I missed this post dude.

Sometimes, you need to shift the clutch lever slightly to make it fit properly. You may also have to be careful that the AR Roller Tube is properly seated in the slots in the top metal drag washer. Don't forget to put the little line keeper thingy back in the sideplate too, its the biggest pain in the butt to put it all together again and then have to take it all apart bcos of that little piece of plastic.

Regards,

Saimee

hi saimee,
thanks for the pointers.
i thin i did all those... was careful not to misplace anythin. so while i was taking out compoments one by one, i laid it out nicely too.
but the big problem happened when i tried to fix it back. no matter how i tried to assemble it, there's is 1-2mm gap.
i thin must be some steps i missed or compoments not really in place.
anyhow, i have since sent it to benji.
wahahaha.. the problem is now with him, while i wait patiencely for his call to collect the reel.
again, thanks for the tips. i will wanna try disassemble it after this year fishin.
Happy Chinese New Year to all
