Salam Bro RK,
Seems that its been too long to see any new threads written on this SEPAK TEAM.
I taught schools is over but I believe the fishing spirit still lives on.....
Even now and then I surf this forum but what I miss is the team discussion and the next location to explore....getting some tips from the pro...hehehe.

Salam Azman & Edros,....dun worry bros....I'm still around to carry on the flagging flaggers...even up to the last day of battle if its left with me alone...I'll do my very best to drag my worn out old body till the last line, hook & bait.... hehe, InsyaAllah.

Some development going on but I'd wish to maintain a low profile actually. There are trips here & there where I'm shifting our attention slightly further out to Sabah, Sarawak & Thailand and cutting down on Tanjung Pinang trips.
Azman, schools is forever never ending lah....vacation are for students, not us..haha.

My friends, as you're aware nothing is forever in this world & SEPAK is no exception..so kakis come and go issues are a norm, so to speak. Same thing for me, someday I will go too when the time comes but InsyaAllah, I'll still proudly fly the team's name & logo on wherever trip I go to..be it locally or overseas. The few old guards who are pioneers of the team are still sticking with me and so far Alhamdulillah with the blessing of the Almighty, I'm never short of enthusiastic kakis to make up the numbers.

To the rest of the Sepakers, I'll leave it to you to decide your future with the team...like I mentioned before, no obligation about joining the team so same thing here, anyone is free to leave if you wish so and if you feel the time is right to disassociate yourself from the team...no hard & fast rules here for SEPAK..free & easy as I've always stressed to the kakis many times before...its your choice anyway.

Having said that, SEPAK kakis will always be welcome to join the trip anytime and all of you should know how to reach me cos my digits & alphabets remains unchange. To those who've been with me on my trips, thanks for the good times gents....I'll treasure till my last breath.

Remember....Silence Is Golden....

Salam
PS: Mods, how come my sig logo is gone..how to reinstate again..thks!

Re: Team SEPAK ~ What happen???

Salam to All Bros,

Lama tak dgr berita. Hope the excitement will fire up this year.
Can't wait to see more trip reports and photos on catches from our
team.

Just to let you all know, I was hospilised on Christmas Eve last year.
I had a severe chest pain at 2 am in the morning and had to rush
to A & E at NUH and was warded for 4 days. My ultra sound result
shows only 25% of my heart is functioning. I am now resting at home
and was advised by Doctor not to work for the time being.

Looking forward to meet up with you guys for teh tarik at Sultanah Cafe.

Hi Bro RK,

Sorry for the late reply. I have noticed that the team title and logo on the left hand side has disappeared since i have upgraded the forum software.

Could you send me a PM on the list of people whois moderator for the Team Sepak so i can reconfigure the title accordingly.

Thanks,
Edy

Sha, I apologies for my ignorant my friend...was too busy that I could even forgot to make a single call to ask of your health...I feel real bad..honestly. Last time I met you in DI, you looked fine & well so I didnt thought you ever need to visit the doc again.
Knowing the kind of work ethics you'd put in, I agree with doc that you should take a well deserve breather my friend.
I'm going for a shortie day trip to kong kong this Sat so perhaps we could meet during the CNY long weekend huh?
I'll let you know nearer the date ya.

Re: Team SEPAK ~ What happen???

Brada RK,

Team Hantap are a bit hampar at the moment, 'cos the weather has made most forms of fishing impractical if not down right dangerous.... Last weekend, 3 foreign picknikers drowned at a popular beach spot after they were reckless enough to try playing in the water with 3m waves coming in the surf... nuts man.

The various members of the crew are fine, but some are going slowly nuts with the lack of time on the water. Kahar did head out to check some of his Bubu, but he reported that the usual 30min journey to the area in fact took him 1.5 hours, which meant that the swell must have been in the 3m range. Ishak has resorted to fishing the mangroves for the moment and I have now serviced pretty much every reel in sight..... I will now probably despool every reel and retie all the connections just to scratch the itch.

Anyway, good to hear from you. Don't worry about your KDN assessment, maybe I will ask my KDN to conduct bilateral discussions next time we swing by your way.

Salams,

Saimee
