Team SEPAK Mapur trip- 4th - 6th June 05'

Just a gentle reminder & some pointers to note for all kakis on this trip:

- assemble at our usual TMFT sarbat corner 7.45 am
- put on team's t-shirt
- if you're packing you tackles now, dun forget your passport
- bring along some rags for cleaning, this item not supplied on the boat
- if you have any unused clothes (t-shirts, pants, etc) still in satisfactory condition, can bring along for giveaway
- all other stuffs deemed necessary like personal medication

Bob's team just came back from 2D1N Tanjung Pinang trip with Ah Kia, catch was bad . Hope that your trip will have a good catch.

Nah..not true, its never been provided before. Bring some combos of 8's , 12's & 16'sizes say around 3-4 each. We do stock some in the box there just some in case kakis ended up with none due to sangkuts and cut offs etc. But have to return or replace if you lose it.
the house rule is: use whatever you have first

Not to worry, we have the mouse to retrieve your sinkers if it got stuck. Last trip we left the box unlock on the boat and ended up short of 5 pcs after the trip. Anyway Osman is in charge of this & will brief you again.

Those sold there are too small & expensive too, much cheaper to buy in S'pore.
Well, no 2 trips are the same..catches & weather inclusive. Just dun tension, relaks & you'll enjoy the trip.

Tapi kalau ada spare batu giling atau lesong boleh jugak pakai kalau sesak sesak..

anyone got spare unused medium size pvc tool box or even cooler box with handle and 'contemplating to.....'

the current one is made of mild steel, sooner or later will rust & overall compartment a bit small cos need to increase stock.

East Malaysia - Gamefish Lucornia ...fantastico fishing...we can plan for next yr and start saving the $$ from now....... at the moment will be the place to go... ,

Semenanjung Malaysia East coast the catch has not been so good so far this year, on the average only listening to kakis...probably sebab Tsunami...need to go deeper, fun fishing trip will be around rompin/mersing or Pelantar minyak - close to Natuna leaving Mersing

Why not also look at the possibility of Team Sepak venture Bali..travel is cheap to Bali nowadays...

Pelantar Minyak a group is leaving from Kota Bahru this weekend, but sailing from Kota Bahru is like 10-12hrs if I am not mistaken...boat is cheap 9 poeple Rm170 per person (SGD77/ea)....but i have not seen the boat, past experience tells me(Italian brader should know this as well), if you have not seen the boat don't go....will check and get back....

Natuna...thamby physlo almost went lah tapi pasal banyak belanja kat trip Taiwan..semua kena cancel lah. Heard about the biggies which require heavy tackle to stop them from heading towards jack-up rigs. Maybe next time.
