Bluewater Fishing Expedition

hello everyone.was invited by my friend to join him and two of his friends to fish at pulau tinggi over the weekend.we used only light tackles.(10-15 pounds).best part of it was we fish for say 4 hrs and we get back to shore to makan,shower relax for a while at the boatman's house.attached are some pics for the humble catch.happy national day everyone.(will be leaving for kemaman tommorow 9th aug for work)Salams all and have a good and safe trip!

hi, was wondering if boatman can bring anglers out for targetting big eye only? btw great catch for an 4 hours trip

! Who is the boatman ? I love to stay at that kind of kampong house, especially when its rain.
Pulau Tinggi is one of my favourite spot for Parrot and Jacks. Hope to go there again.

bang Lek.boatman's name is pak long.the kampong is really nice.i had the chance to sleep in it on a sunny day and also when it rained.both of them were equally a pleasant experience.the food cooked was also very refreshing.really enjoyed myself.this trip was out of the blues and since it was a short trip...why not?also work is piling up and need to travel around,so given the opportunity just grab lah.

the thing i like most from the trip is the using of light tackles and also listening to the boat man's stories.had a blast!

lastly,i hope you guys have a good and fruitful trip.kalau lah ada rezki dapat tenggeri ramai...kirim kan lah satu untuk myself

How many of you went ?? Look like the boat can take only 3 pax lah. You got anymore picture to show??? So how is the weather there????

LT, that looks like Pak Rajab house and yes he is also fondly known as Pak Long. That boat used to have a canopy over it and Pak Rajab is famouus for being unfamous with the islanders....meaning no one knows his spot cos he will just go out quietly and came back with sizeable catches.

Stingy bugger that fella.

..but understandble cos he make a living out of fishing.. used to buy from him when catches are bad.

Another reason is using that small boat makes it easier for him to park close to reefs and tukuns where bigger boats wouldn't dare in case got grounded. Those tukuns are deadly mind you...

We'll see you in kemaman on Sat.

why would it be great to be in that house especially when it rains???

seems a great place to be but the size of the boat

cos if i were to be jigging on one side of the boat the guy sitting behind me would probably get sea sick because of all the rocking

Long time no see.
I tell you , when you are on the bed and its rain

the coolness and the sound of the rain makes me just close my eyes and dont want to go to sleep, just want to enjoy the atmosphere longer.
The only problem with this kind of house, when you do something

at night, the bed squeak like hell and sometimes the wall shakes too

Hello Mark,..Mackies & Jacks plenty..and so does Arrow squidies when good season..remembered once we bought sold at Rm 4.00 a kilo! fresh lagi

but sadly unlike Tanjung Pinang, CT is premium species there which they dun normally target. If you lucky, somedays he got 1 or 2 in the box...
