Pulau Angsa Trip 9th October with Rosman

bros below Catch Report for my trip...

Decision was made Thursday nite to go for this trip, after a sudden call from Rosman inviting me to go.

Accepted the invitation, since i have never been there....sunday morning 530am left from my home to meet up point in Kelang...Rosman was already there....had a chat about the trip and the captain..and proceeded to the "boat club"....

was a bit worried when Isaw th fibre boat..as it was not in good condition with lots off patches here and there.....he he , had my life jacket so..sped off from the jetty around 0715am....on the way stopped at a kampung beside the river to get the live baby octopus...

ETAed Pulau Angsa around 0830hrs, started fishing, captain hooked up the fisrt jenahak, the the second, then the third, 4th, 5th, 6th then Rosman got one, ehmm then myself..came up to be a duri...sad....

then captain another one...ths time ard 2 kg..no 7 for captain...then myself number 9, then 10 and 11 by captain..all within 2hrs....busy morning....then all the duris and sembilangs started to come out...one after another....Rosman had 1 missed strike..and myself had 3 missed strike n the morning...but that was it....around 1.30pm winds picked up and we decided to head towards pulau ketam for some merah and senangin, senohong....all we caught was duri's, sembilangs, etc etc....

headed for the jetty around 5.30pm.....

later i was told by rosman captain keeps his cathces...what ..but he was good enough to share wiht us this time... it was a poor outing for myself and ROsman as we only manage to bring up 1ea of the jenahaks...the trick is (later was told by captain)...use the whole octopus as bait...don't cut it into 2..as what i and rosman was doing at the front of the boat...well learned something...

below are some pictures..note the 2 singles were caught by me(picture 13) and rosman(picture 12) all the rest by captain planet and his fantastic 7 rods he brought.....


next stop...Pangkor Island....

Steady Nemo,... tak apa, normally orang baru di kasi yg anak dulu...after a few trips baru lah yg 4 - 6 kg pulak...tak terangkat nanti.

Next stop Pulau Pangkor??.....no lah kan patut nya Pulau Itik atau Pulau Ayam Belanda....banyak kerapu sonok & garpu senduk jugak ... :P

Well, learned some trick of catching that jenahak ha . I presume U will be prepared for your next outing.
Captain planet using 7Rods in that fibre boat That's one hell
of a space to fish.
