October 2003 ..... FK forum.....this guy outta nowhere PM me after I gave some input on Azman Supandi's fishing..... he went for the trip..came back..PM again...among other things we exchange were...." Bro RK, hope to fish with you someday"... after I posted my trip to Tanjung Pinang with Boxer, Hj Pardi, Tok Kemenyan & Zikista.

Well that day duly arrived in Feb 2004 on our 1st trip together to Pemanggil...its a hell of a trip with 19 macks , big reds & other biggies.... the rest,... as you all know is history.

I would..sincerely confess here that...SHA BA is one kaki I could rely on when times are calling... few incidences worth mentioning but lets just keep it that way & I think he preferred it that way too..silent but efficient kaki....his unwavering, undivided team spirit is truly the greatest asset our team inherited.

In fact, there are some within the team with great character too... with a tinge of leadership qualities but keeping low profile...committed & dedicated. I'm truly lucky to have you all in my team.....seniors or young...new inclusion...or old guards....

Senior members such as Sha, Hj Pardi & myself will definitely loved to see the younger ones taking over our roles when our time are up

Syukur Alhamdulillah....the team that I built slightly more than a year ago has gone from strength to strength...& I'm fully aware that without the support from each & everyone of you, it will not be possible for team SEPAK to where we are now.

I truly value the contributions from each kaki & each time we went for a trip, the bond gets stronger & at times I felt that we're like one big family and somewhat fated to meet & fish together.

Sha BA,...if you had asked me hoping to fish with me together in 2003, now I'm sincerely hopeful that May Allah Bless us with good health and long life to permit us to fish together in many years to come my friend...and to the rest of my teamates too.....InsyaAllah..Amin Yaa Rabbal Aa laminn.

It was the day of the first Pemanggil Trip trip organise by our "old-timer" bradas which i missed out due to dislocated thumb. After that trip, i saw a photo of this "angler" with a mama tenggiri, and i ask brada RK...who is this "arab looking guy", and brada RK told me it was brada Sha.....buddy of our boxer Hj. Ismail. I said to myself, another old-timer in our group as you all know i was the youngest among the old birds, aren't there any younger one around. But after i really get to know this fellas and brada Sha, god bless you all...there are bunch of great kakis. Remenbered when brada Sha injured himself and fractured some parts of his bones and he left us for quite some times. After which he semi recovered...yet to all his strength and abilities, he insist on joining us for a trip to Mapor and which i quite concern for him as he has not fully recovered. Hope you remember the time when you caught the big mama spotted and the marble ray.....and we work together bringing up those bruts. What i respect about brada Sha is that....of his effort and perseverance....which i must learn more from him and the rest. Rigging up those overkill rigs, in my mind thinking...what's this old man trying to fish......but my thought was wrong.....every effort that he puts...it pays good price.....those mama rays. Whatever it is brada Sha, you are one hell of an angler who hardly sleeps during the trip.....R&D every methods of fishing and that's what we as a younger generations should learn from. For me, i like to observe and learn from these old-timers. By the way brada Sha, if you were to hook up anymore monsters and if you were to need HELP........just summon me....ZIKISTA IS ALWAYS THERE FOR YOU BRADA.

Here is a pics of a marble ray caught by our brada Sha BA, despite his injuries.........err.....brada Sha's new "SARONG" during our trip on an old Ah Kia's boat which now captained by Am.

Ha..ha..Ghani, yes he is. He would have become a comando but becoz of his passion for fishing he choose to be a diver instead. I bet he knows where the fishes are hidding around our local wrecks.

Thanks a million for all the nice thoughts & words of encouragements
from my bros Sepakians. I thought after my retirement
I can relax & go half the pace on whatever I do.
But looks like I have to maintain the high expectation
Sepakins have on me. .
This is more stressful than my working life
No lah, just joking.

It is really nice to be with fellow Sepakians. I remeber as Bro
RK puts it, my first trip to Pemanggil was very exciting meeting
new kakis (Sepakians was not formed then).
The cooperations and assistance given to me after my hand & leg operation was superb. Bro (Peng-Hairan) Zul was there, eveready
to give me a helping hand whenever I need that extra strength to reel
those huge mama rays (Paridah).
I also never have to worry going up and down the ladder, there were always helping hands to make sure I am safe.

I am no expert in fishing, but I am willing to learn from the young
and old. I believe learning is a 2 ways traffic. Every one has its own speciality, something that I can learn from, examples:

Hi Robsen, am very pleased to have met you too. I think what makes my team ticks is simply...we've learnt to accept weaknesses and at the same time appreciates the strength of each kakis. In this way, we are able to compliment each other in many ways.

Btw, I am organising a Sailfish popping competition to be held in Rompin in September/October and am looking for kakis now. It's a series kinda of competition which runs for two months..starts 1st September and ends 31st october and the guy with the biggest Sail landed on popper/stickbait
wins.

..Biggest Sailfish on poppers/stickbait gets a new Ryobi Safari 5000....

However, if not enough kakis take part..then have to cancel the event.

So guys...form your teams... (5 pax.max. to a boat ) and we'll go popping...

Planning stage now...got good response than event on.

Sure...you can use bait..but Sail landed not counted...no prize...just take pics released and that's it.. ..too easy on bait.

I want to promote popping for Sails there..believe me..not easy even for the season pro.. ...no such thing as sure win one...

Go for it bro...give it a shot..

Anyway,am trying to get more sponsors for other categories...like jigging, bottom and others..sponsor prizes I mean for biggest fish caught in the different cats.

Biggest tenggirri caught on poppers/stickbait..

Biggest fish caught on jigs.. (Metal jigs and not Sabiki jigs.)

Maybe one for Sails caught with live baits..

As i say...planning now..see response how...good..then event on...

Feel free to give me ideas guys..am open to suggestions for all kakis.
