A 16.5kg Cobia was brought up.......

Uncle Sha boleh's rod did the cobara spit action.He picked it up and striked.He was fighting it and it was pulling him.I stood beside him and asked him many times "Boleh? Boleh?".He replied "boleh".I was hoping that he would get tired and hand over the rod to me to carry on but was I wrong...he fought the fish all the way... : it was a big "bulat"

Black Magic Nemo as usual was d first to pullup a fish He was like a man on a misssion on dis trip.He was copying everything d boatman was doing.Same length leader,same size hook,same standing position,even when d boatnman was smiling ...he smiled.What I'm trying to say is that d boatman was on top form and he was pulling up big buggers time after time.

I have never seen Sha Boleh so happy.He was like a lttle kid again.Was joking hard,laughing real hard and cracking jokes and all....I was caught off guard and it was really a joy to see him having so much fun.

We had a different kind of lunch for this trip.This time we had sea food at Elly's on d first day and also on the day of return.Fishes,cuttle fish,fried chicken,kangkong belacan was part of the menu.I had never seen so many faces smile at one time.We have to thank Haji Pardi who was the man who headed the group for this trip.

Sha boleh's rod did the cobra thing again....he was not around.Black magic Nemo looked at me and I looked back at him...did a dash for it and Nemo was d first to pulled d rod out and fight the bugger.I took over and BM Nemo tak happy....he sabohed me and called out at sha boleh who came and took over and fought d bugger till d end.

That was d kind of fun and bonding i noticed on this trip.

we had 3 invited "guest" on this trip and they fit in really2 quick and well.Osman was as usual having fun and pulling up fishes.

Actually I think the catches are a ok to me and as usual am grateful.Everyone had as close as an excect share for one self.This,we got to thank BM Nemo and Osman as they really did an excellent job on the distribution and the smiles :P on the gruop's faces says it all.To d invited guests Saleh,Sukor and Idris......you guys are alright

Fishes caught were like...Bulats n more bulats,a couple of cobias...sting ray,red snappers(ahem ahem),grut2,ketarap,kaci, duri,oteks dan lain2 lagi

I hope that everone can join me and please pray for Sha as he will be going for some kind of treatment for his heart on this coming Friday.It might come to even an operation and balloning and some other realted stuff to his heart.

Keterap memang lekat sama lu la...great catch, have to say you are one great strong angler..cause I can tell you not many (maybe 1 out of 10) can tahan sitting at the side fishing all night long...the space was to tight for me ...hope we can rotate spots amongst ourselves on future trips...cool dude.

What a great idea kayi! I'm all for it...I also like the way you soughted out the catches and distributed them equally among all the anglers.Even the anglers who caught less did not feel left out and felt part of the group and went home happy(this was the feed back i had from abang saleh and Sukor.Even Idris was happy.)But the thing I liked best was when you offered d special catches to the angler who caught them first and it was up to him if he wanted to keep it or cut it up and share.Either desicion he would had made would be alright with us.
You know lah kayi...I not fussy about the catches....but where is my gerapu huh? You bawak balik m'sia huh? Just kidding bubba...enjoy your fishes~

Nice report Bro. Bro RK picked the right guy to be the Moderator for Team Sepak and we all knew you would deliver as expected. Well done Bro Shah (FPIP).

I had another fun day of fishing with you guys. :P :P :P Even the 3 invited anglers which were unknown to most of us enjoyed themselves with the numerous jokes thrown in by everyone and of course they were excited with the fish bites too. I was very lucky to have 2 concern anglers (FPIP & NEMO) to my left and right, coz when I was away from my rod, they were ever ready to grab my screeching rod whenever there is a bite. Hmmm, too bad, I was as eager as them to grab back the rod to reel in the excitement. At one time, I have to perform multi tasking when reeling in the fish. On one hand I have to focus on the fish, then on my left I have to assure FPIP that I am OK, when he kept on asking me "How, boleh tak." To which I replied "Boleh" and that kept him silent for a while but not for long. Not forgetting I also have to avoid the criss cross lines from fellow anglers, with a total of 4 lines gettting entangled.
I must agree with Bro Shah (FPIP) that the bonding was superb and not forgetting the sea food lunch we had at the kelong.

The cobia was not caught by me lah. The Boatman had the catch of the day with his 16.5 kg cobia using a 30 lbs handline.

Thanks for your concern and prayers for me. For info to my fellow anglers, I will be admitted to CGH on 26 May 06 for "Day Surgery" (Angiogram). According to my doctor a cut wil be made near my groin area and a tube inserted through the artery. Coloured solution is pump in to see whether there is any blockage to the artery. A ballon procedure is immediately done should there be any blockage. If this happen I will have to be warded again Please pray that I have no block artery. Should there be any blockage, I have to go for balloning, then I request for your prayers for my speedy recovery.

So he got a good report card to show me ya...but I heard he sat & sleep & sleep & sat most times.. Anyway, like I mention in Kemaman, being 1 of the pioneers I guess its only right that I choose him and am glad he went thru it well after so many late night & early morning frantic calls to me.. ..including the rod tubes problem...

For the record, your next trip will be in Sept and honestly if you have to go thru the surgery, I will not allow you to join in the June trip even if there's space...I'm sorry my friend, say anything you wish...its not negotiable.. case close...

I am really touched and honoured to be part of TEAM SEPAK. Like Bro Sani said, "Tak pergi mancing pun dapat ikan" This is the team spirit I knew I would be getting into when I first joined the Pemanggil Trip.
Having said that, I dont think I have the heart to take any share of the catch without contributing in effort and cash. Bro Shah, please dont make me "pai seh" lah. I know you guys have been very kind to me all along, but not this way, please.
