    Seven Seas vs Carpenter

    Hi all,

I am thinking of upgrading my Kaibutsu Long Cast. Generally, the Seven Seas rods seems to be more expensive than the Carpenter rods. Is there a reason why? Better? I am using a Dogfight as reel.

Anybody can help? Thanks in advance.

Carpenter with decoratives like SevenSeas will cost JPY. 150k . If you are after performance then go with Carpenter but if you are fashionable , SevenSeas will be difficult to miss among the crowds .

Pak Jon is right besides the fancy look on Sevenseas popping rod it is also heavier in weight than Carpenter popping rod which I think is very important factor especially when you are casting 100g or even more popper for whole day.

May i suggest Hots Gipang or Hots Tide lez rods. They are much lighter with new carbon wraping technologies.

Anyone tested the Patriot Design rods?

    my 2 cents
