Any decent popping rod and wont cost an arm or leg to get which can work well with 6500 Exp on 6000 GT spool?

Of course what may works for you might not works for me ... i am just looking for general opinion.

Hey Edy, check out the new HOT's GIPANG series. I'm getting one (maybe two :P ) myself and will be trying it out next weekend.

The rods are available @ Anglers Outfitters. If I'm not mistaken, they are the most affordable Japanese made GT popping rods in town.

I'm heading to Ujung Kulon... going fishing with my buddy Rob again. Might be doing some night jigging this time... wish me luck dude.
