    FS-GT78XH compared to a SP-78UHL

I've just got my custom ripple fisher which took more than 4 month waiting time.

I'm going to try it during the weekend. It is very stiff but I guess casting wise I'm going to be able to cast 100-220g+ with it.

My stella 18000sw has a 20k spool mounted with 130lb line on.

Out of curiosity how does the UHL compares to the 78xh?

    In terms of power?

The UHL is still stronger in terms of lifting power. and the UHL has a faster tip as well.
XH feels light becos most of its weight is nearer the lower end of the rod, but it actually weighs in at 445g.
I would think that the UHL will handle chuggers above 200g better because of this characteristic.

    Only my 2 cents worth.
Have so far fished the UHL before but only pulled and examined the 78XH.

Yeah. I'll try it this weekend and see how it recovers when casting.
