EUPRO Hammer HRS-802MH

Hi Guys,

Today I bought myself an inexpensive rod by Eupro and the model is Hammer HRS-802MH.

Specification as following
Line: PE 3-6
Load: 18KG
Jig: 300G
Length: 8'0"
Sect: 2

I will be using this next Wednesday in Maldives. Lets see how it turns out

Anyone has experience on this rod?

Cheers,
Edy

eupro jigging rod is very popular in here malaysia but as for the popping rod i think lemax top over it.

anyways this eupro popping rod spec looks a bit out as for a rating of pe3-6 don't think it can cast a max lure/jig weight of 300g for long unless the top 1/3 portion is super solid with stiff back bone.

just my thinking but still gd luck to you and catch more big gt of course must release them too

Hey Edy, I was told by friends that most of the GT caught at Maldives lately are of managable sizes so don't worry, light-medium weight GT outfits would be suffice. Good luck & take more photos

Stickbom,
The rod turns out to be pretty good for its price

Kaix,
It works well for popping in Maldives... no problem at all.

I would recommend budget minded or beginner to go with that rod

Cheers,
Edy
