Budget Popping Outfits

Anyone here has suggestions for budget popping outfits I guess this is to benefit those on a tighter budget for gear... please bear in mind that your recommendations should, if possible, be tested and proven to be "GT Proof"

Hi....for a budget rod I still stick to ATC 7'6", rated for PE-6. It's proven to be a GT slaughter, by my self up to around 20kg and by friend of mine up to approx. 50kg......

I've heard about what happen to ATC exploded in Bali....but that was not while in fighting with the beast, it happen while being tested again the fence or a tree with very high drag ! Perhaps it was inspired from some crazy guys in the caranx forum.....

rgds,
Lod.

NICE!! Any instructions/diagrams on how to make that Al Cheapo popper? Oh by the way, Hock Heng is now selling a Penex Poder lookalike and AO has the Caranx Pen. Should go take a look when you're in town Jon.

Smile Popping

The Lemax Grand Tournament GT 86 is not bad either. Landed a 19kg GT at Louisa at ease. Have not got a chance to test it, against those mama.
