Are all pencil poppers created the same?

Specifically, I am asking if there are any significantly better than the Yo-zuri Surface Cruisers and of a similar weight.

I'm pretty sure the longer pencils give better head shaking action when worked right.

Pencil poppers have seemed to have gone out of fashion these days... just my observation judging by the direction of the industry.

i guess big GT react better to loud bloopers or super stealth sliders. Fast skipping poppers tend to only get the attention of small GTs, but that said, S.Cruisers are hard to beat in value, versatility and useability. U don't have to look any further!

yeah, in my books at least, the yozuri gt bulls and surface cruisers are my go-to topwater lures these days.
