I've seen those jigs in Miri but only yellow and green back only. Btw, Saimee Blue Fox pink colour jigs 100g and 160g Miri (X-gear) still have.

Hello,

I am just begin to learn jigging for a year ago but still find the right choice of jigs for my style of jigging.

I tried the same Yo-Zuri Metallic Sardine jigs before but on the lighter version > 120g but not so effective to me. Care to share your experienced on this heavier version type as I am planning to get the 200g model for my up coming trip to Spratly.

Thank you very much

Tight Line

Hi Eeyore, one important factor you have to bear in mind is whether there's fishes at the spot you're jigging @ in the first place. If no one on the boat is catchin anything, regardless whether its bait or jig, then there's a high chance you're anchored over a "bankrupt" spot. On the other hand, if those using bait are hammering fish after fish and you're not catching anything on jig, it may mean that the species of fish are not interested in "leaded diet". High time to keep that jig and drown bait. During a red hot jigging session, it doesn't matter if your jig is $100 a piece or $5 a piece, it'll get whacked anyway. Another tip to consider is using lighter leaders. I've had the most success with 30-40lb leaders over the last few years of jigging. Granted you'll probably lose a few fishes but hell, better than not getting a bite at all

Hi 12345,

I've collected a lot of Blue Fox product, from Herring to AtomSilda in various weighted. But I still don't know this product "Blue Fox pink colour jigs 100g and 160g Miri (X-gear)".....
Would you mind to specify it, please.....with pics perhaps ? Thanks.

Hello stickbom!,

Thank you for your comments.

May be is my style of jigging which is still very stiff as I do not have many chances to go offshore fishing trip so lack of practise

The spot we "landed" surely produced many fishes on jigging because some of the buddies landing fish after fish on jigs except myself after a hard work of 3 hours only got 2 fish on my Yo-Zuri Sardine jig but interested to note the fishes are crazy over jig such as AG, Jig Ace, Smith & Fisherman.

Tight Line

Looking at the jigs u mentioned as effective, they are all fast sinking. as for your Sardine, its slow..... probably thats why they were landing fish after fish and you landed only 2....
