Shout or YGK

Hey jiggers,

Which pe assist rope is better and more economical?

The Shout white one or the orange YGK one.

Where to get the cheapest one?

I got the shout one, 3m 200lb for 8 dollars. Is it gd price to pay?

Where to get those solid rings and split rings?

Jigs bag or just a plain box?

Thx to all.

Re: Shout or YGK

I share the same view with eeyore however for storing jigs, i personally think a jig bag is better than a box. Not those fancy fisherman/shout jig bag, but a simple 'roll-able' type that is sold in AO for $20+-. Roll-able jig bag can store a lot of jigs, long short fat slim all into one bag. It is particularly good when you are going for a big trip; a roll-able jib bag occupies much lesser space than fancy jig bag where normally the number of slots are limited.

Flip side is jigs are not as organized and they tend to knock against each other and may get scratched. This doesn't bother me anyway; the jigs are already full of bite marks

Re: Shout or YGK

there are some nice jig bags at Sabre as well, going for about roughly the same price, and they come in various length and sizes to fit the long jigs. The various sizes is if you have more or less jigs to bring.

As for assist ropes, lookout for the OWNER assist rope that comes with its own splicing needle, you can splice your own assist hooks easily...
