Hey Joshua, that popping rod in your shop was really decent. It's a good thing that more and more affordable choices of jigging/popping rods/reels are available these days. Newcomers to the game need not bleed their wallets dry to pick up the game.

Sorry to side track a little MarkR. Joshua showed me a pretty decent popping stick in his shop this afternoon and I was quite impressed with it.

I can't really remember the price but if I'm not wrong its about $250 or so. Didn't see the specs but Joshua let me load/pull on the rod and it feels pretty decent. Oh I spotted lots of colorful Sevenseas rods further inside the shop but I'm kinda on tight budget these days... so didn't go in and check out the rods. Afraid I can't resist the temptation...
