Just returned from the Yokohama tackle show. These shows seem to be getting smaller every year

Nothing revolutionary this time round, but it does seem like more and more JDM Jig n Pop manufacturers are outsourcing production of their rods in China...

New mid-range Certate from Daiwa...no new Saltiga unfortunately and Daiwa has a new logo...Shimano has a new range of light Stellas...

Panasonic has a battery operated mid-knot tying tool...

And here are some pictures of a new Lever Drag Ocea Jigger set to be released in 2010...looks similar to the Talica

However, I think there are one or two JDM brands to look out for in the coming year...they are expanding their product range carefully and selectively and have great potential to become the top 1 or 2 jg n pop brands very soon...some excellent jig rods in development from these guys
