RE: Line capacity of Shimano Stella SW20000PG

Oh that much... no wonder many kakis using the 20K model for jigging, popping, bottom & trolling all in 1 reel.

After loaded with line, it's weight about 1kg right? Do you feel tiring when using it for jigging? I haven't try on any saltiga or stella yet, so just curious and ask...

Hi Mikey,

Did you soak the braided into water prior of loading into the reel?

Cheers,
Edy

Octo- No idea how heavy... will weigh my reel if I find a scale @ home Yeah you can do whatever you like with the SW20000PG as long as it holds enough line for your purpose.

Edy- Yeah I had to soak the line in water prior to loading. PP is kind of stiff when new so its difficult to compact on your reel. Much better when wet :P
