We got chance to test the Venom 450 & 550 during our recent NZ trip since the Capt is one of the local who help to test the Synit rods and both work very well with OJ4000P and OJ5000P.

If I am not wrong and remember correctly both 450 & 550 model retailed at approx. SGD930.00 while the blank cost between SGD330 to SGD400.

    Cheers

Re: The future of Jigging Blanks?

To my friends in Singapore, these Synit rods are fantastic we are fishing them hard here in the Land of the Long White Cloud (NZ), with great results.
Just wait until you try the Venom 150 Carbon/Kevlar my favorite snapper Jigging outfit. I have attached a few pictures of the snapper the lads & I have been jigging & a great picture of Josh aka Accident Prone getting bent by a big King on his Venom 250.
At this time of year when the birds dolphins & snapper are eating anchovies we can bin out in 30mins on a hot bite. jig often gets picked up on the way down 10m under the boat. Just sick jigging!

Kaiser Pro Shop will sort you out MarkR when you coming fishing Mate

Here's the report on 360 Tuna of the epic battle:

    Dinosaur Hunting - 360Tuna

I've just heard from a mate in NZ that the little baby Venom 150 has landed a 27kg Kingie. Same rod that Nirai above used to land those NZ Snappers!

Re: The future of Jigging Blanks?

For those who are wondering if the 4'8" is a cut down 5'2" the answer is no. The Carbon & Kevlar patterns have been altered to match the fulcrum point, this is obvious once you look at the blanks.

    4'8" is a real beast
