My Mood: Rep Power: 6 ![]() ![]() | Hi Jason, Ya very ex! Understand that crazy longs not very effective in Taiwan? Easier to work than the older AG ones, sink much faster too. Have u tried the AG jigs that are on offer now $19/pc- big split rings can't fit through the wire eye properly. And yes I'm a sucker for the nana jpg. look |

| Moderator | Hi Mark I din tried the crazy long jigs at Taiwan ..... Abt the offer AG jigs.... Get the torpedo jigs (ask fishing buddy).....They are the fastest in sinking...... Jeff had one jig snatched by another fish on the way up which resulted in a lost jig(broken wire eye) Cheers Jason

| Moderator | Hi Mike Maybe I got everyone confused...... U see... Jeff got a fish on his jig ...While pulling up the fish, another of the fish followed.... Looks like a bigger fish (I think dog tooth) From the surface,I saw the fish juz grab the jig hanging ard the other fish mouth and pull down..... then Jeff got a very hard pull that almost yanked his rod overboard......... In the end he still got his fish back but not the jig..... Cheers Jason

My Mood: Rep Power: 4 ![]() | Fisherman Jigs Hi, same here. I'd brought some Fisherman Crazy Long jigs (420/520g) to Perth to try out. End result (personal opinion).... not that they are no good but they're not fantastically impressive especially when matched with their prices. haha.... My conclusion for Crazy Long Jigs from Fisherman.... Sinks very fast.... (very good if you need not jig much, when there is one drop one bite frenzy going on) Quite difficult to jig (base too heavy) Need a rod with a very stiff tip and even so, its can be quite tiring for prolonged jigging. Finishing/ Color Nicely done, color coating is relatively lasting (does not peel off easily, but then again, samsons do not have teeth like dogtooh...so.... Price Definitely expensive for me. But can't say that for all. Cheers! MKim |
