Rep Power: 2  | Do you have a max jig weight? That is, the current is too strong and only a 750gm will reach bottom etc. Will you just keep on getting the heavies till you do? Or do you have a max jig weight where draw a line and you tell yourself "Heck, I will just go sleep and leave Mike to carry on jigging with his 1kg jig?"  Mine is 320gm. |

Really good to meet up with friendly and familiar faces  Awwww... come on man... just do what you're comfy with dude. Fishing is all about fun and enjoyment! If jigs over 320 ain't your cup of tea then to hell with it. Everyone has their own idea of "fun" so there's no hard and fast rule to it. My really big jigs are more for dangling near the sea bed for big groupers... nothing more! Hell I might even impale a slice of tuna meat onto the assist hook! Wished I had 750/1000g with me in Bali man... 520s were hardly enough to hit the bottom 100m from shore when I fished at Tianyar a few years back!
