While i have a jigger for the heavy stuff, I was wondering if a cal 700 would be suffice for light jigging during the slower currents? Jigs used would be around 80 -120 grams. Would installing a power handle make it a better weapon of choice? Noticed the new ones comes with power handle at anglers hut. |

By the way, have you tried the newer octopus rigs which are attached to a conventional looking jig. Weight range from 80 - 200 grams. Think I saw some at sabre. the jig weight seem ideal for the deeper waters. U tried those yet? How to work the retrieval? cheers |
