Designed to jig and bottomfish, Alutecnos' Gorilla 12C is the smallest reel in the company's lineup. The silver-anodized lever-drag reel provides 40 pounds of drag thanks to two carbon-composite discs. The 12C weighs in at 24 ounces and offers a 4.4:1 gear ratio. The reel holds 620 yards of 12-pound mono, 450 yards of 20-pound mono or 345 yards of 50-pound braid.
It look god. Which shop in Singapore is selling this ? Interested to take a look.

Gorilla 12C has a twin-disc drag on the left side plate, a tripartite infinite AR bearing with waterproofing, thicker gears and shaft diameter of 8mm+

don mind i ask, wats drag quadrant for ?
For i) finer adjustment of drag settings, ii) ease of use- no need to push red button to go into "free" or "max" settings...basically just to fine tune an already very good jigging reelOriginally Posted by shineshy

Any round knobs instead of T-Bars for the CCM handle?
what is the weight? any left hand?
I have an Alutecnos Gorilla 12C (narrow) in the left-hand version.
For those interested the line capacity is well over 400m of YGK PE5.
First time I filled the reel I used the line that filled my Exp 6500, the 12C took all the Exp. line and had room for 70m-100m more.
I am an engineer and can tell anyone who is interested that these reels are built to the highest standards and closest tolarances throughout.
Accurates are childrens toys in comparison to an Alutectnos Gorilla.
The drag is faultless and silky smooth straight from the box, the free spool is exactly that, totally free.
I have used the reel constantly for just over 2 years and in my opinion it is the best jigging reel I have ever used bar none.
The reel is so well made I doubt I will ever wear it out!
(No commercial conections - just telling it like it is)
