Last I checked, they stocked FC100 in #16-100lb test (only 3 spools per poundage). Don't think they've displayed it yet so ask the staff for it.

dude, do you have any findings on how the various fluorocarbon lines stack up against each other?

eg, daiwa vs seagar, etc etc.

Zeck ,

I find Seaguar is good in lighter line class but Duel FC leader is better in higher class due to it's better knot characteristic with PE line but for abrasion resistance , Seaguar Big Game FC leader as " bite " leader is very good .

I use a short " bite " leader when YellowFin Tuna fishing combined with thin mono leader to achieve long distant casting with relatively small/light lure as YellowFin Tunas don't seem to strike big lures well .

Re: Sunline FC lines now available at Changi Pro Tackle!

Thanks guys! Good tip on the Duel.

sportsfisherman, are you saying for YellowFin Tunas, you use 2 leaders? A thick short bit leader, and a longer thinner leader as cast/invisible leader?

Also, does anyone see any less catches when using thicker more visible leaders compared to stealthy FC lines when popping for GTs?

Hi Zeck ,

The thinner leader enhance casting distance and in YellowFin Tuna popping , the only abrasion you are likely to encounter is from the fish's mouth , therefore the
short " bite " leader . With GT , I use heavier leader because of the abrasions encountered in the areas where big GTs lurk .

As for stealthy FC to outfish mono , I once experienced that while barra fishing in Minburi - Thailand , other than that I have yet to prove it otherwise convincingly .
