But I still choose the Twinpower over the Kix as I like the smooth drag and smooth cranking I got from it. And even though I service my reel regularly I still encounter corrosion on the spool. Still this does not bother me as long as the internals are not affected. If the spool gets worse, I just change to another spool. The other plus factor on the Twinpower, is the oil lubricating port which at any time I can lubricate the internals without stripping the whole reel. I have to thank Mikey-San for highlighting this to me. Hope this can be of some help to you. Regards physlo

Please advise I'm not sure whether the smaller anti reverse bearings inside newer Daiwa reels like the Kix/Certate is as strong as the huge ones found under Shimano spinning reel's rotor but personally I'll stick with Shimano (and the Twinpower for that matter if you're going to use it for offshore). Do note that the larger Saltiga reels (4500-6500) have larger anti reverse bearing + anti reverse dog so they're just as strong as the Stella if not stronger. |

as far as offshore fishing ard those locations that you're refering to and if its meant to be for bottom fishing i would suggest you look else where.. even thou both reels are pretty decent in terms of what they are capable of, they are in no way good or suitable for bottom fishing, mainly due to their weak cranking and low line cap, these reel is more suitable for light jigging, live baiting or estuary fishing, also even thou both reel has got pretty similar reel size line cap are totally different, but if you're just into comparing the two, then my vote goes to Twinpower.. Cheers Mark

muthu ah na if you can afford twinpower 4000 then there is no reason why you can not afford jigger. A new twinpower 4000 cost approx $420 while a new jigger 4000p cost approx $530 so there is just a hundard diff.
