Shimano Ocea Jigger Handle Change

Hi all,

I would like to change my power handle (the one lying on the floor) for my 4000P but i cannot find a way to change it. Please see the attached. I have unscrewed the screws from the Shimano metal plate but not the shaft.

Thank you very much.

Re: Shimano Ocea Jigger Handle Change

Hi all,

Issue resolved. I managed to change the grip by using a flat screw driver to unscrew the connecting to the handle.

Thanks.

Regards,
CW

Sorry to reply so late dude.

Congratulations on changing the handle. Just make sure that you got put the bearing seal washers back on the lower bearing thats at the bottom of the handle shaft. This seal is essential in preventing that bearing from getting destroyed by saltwater exposure.

Regards,

Saimee
