My Mood:  Rep Power: 6   | Shimano New Bass One 2602-2 Manufacturer: Shimano Model: New Bass One 2602-2 (Spin) 6' (2pcs) 6-14lb Lure Weight 7-18g Chrome Framed Fuji single foot guides Cork Grips Ergonomic Reel Seat Metallic Navy Blue blank Black Guide wrappings Cost less than SGD$120 Finishing- 4 Blank action- 5 Component Quality- 5 Casting- 5 Value for money- 5 Overall score- 4.8  Verdict: The New Bass One is made in Indonesia but I would say its very well built. The only flaw with my rod is the finishing of the reelseat. I feel that the paint/coating on the reelseat is too thick and rather unsightly. Other than the reelseat, I would say the new Bass One is a top notch rod at entry level price! Rating 1(poor) 2(below average) 3(average) 4(above average) 5(Excellent) |
