| opinion on okuma TG series reels hello everyone...went to beach road yesterday and saw this okuma TG 10S and okuma TG-10-II.according to the sales person, he claims that the reel has a max drag of 12 kg and despite having a high gear ratio of 6.2:1 it has pretty good cranking power that is able to crank of a dead weight of 4 kg.and on top of that it is reasonably priced, comes with a 5 yr warranty and is pretty light.any advise opinion or feedback on this reel will be appreciated.thanks in advance. |

| Moderator | Hi ernie I think Z40 will be a better choice than Z30.... First,Z40 have more line cap and hold more heavier line...... Second,I believe U will be using it for jigging rather than bottom fishing......That means U can jig at deeper waters with Z40...... But Z30 ,I rather use it for regional waters ...... Cheers Jason
