New Abu Cardinal 800 series is in town!!

Those who are looking for a budget spinning reel do check out the new Cardinal 800 series from ABU GARCIA. Was having dinner at Changi V as usual this evening and happen to walk into Changi Pro to see Sam fiddling with the 804 (Only size available). First thing I did was button down on the carbon matrix drag and boy was I impressed with the drag pressure!! Reeeeally smooth and strong for a reel so compact in size. Looking into the box I discovered a neoprene reel bag and an aluminium spare spool!! Guess what... the whole package is well under $150!! Specs on the box says the bearings in the real are corrosion resistant and the shaft has some special coating on it to ensure smoothness of operation. While I can't say for sure these claims are for real, just the first impression is enough to make me buy one sooooooon!
