Used to have one of these, for the price its ok, just think there's too much hype over this rod

Selling for more than retail now?

Reminds me of those so called "collectible" ABUs

Can't remember the bayside shooter at Colin's shop but I know it was made as a shorter 6 foot rod and not a 6.5 foot rod some time back. Bayside shooter is a low end Aby Special Rod lah...too much hype over this piece of tackle. I used to have a boron blend Aby Special bought from who else but Uncle John! Like everything else in John's shop, it cost me an arm and a leg!

Colin used to scout around John's shop in the early days of the post-siow chiang, hock ann, hock heng era. Even Alvin picked up mamiya abus from John's shop I understand
