So wondering if any of you guys can recommend a spinning rod thats capable of doing light popping/jigging. Looking for a rod thats around 6ft-6'6ft, either 1 or 2pcs rod will do. Thanks! |

I was reading ur post with interests and I may just have a rod which is perfect for ur application if U do not mind a second hand rod (only been lightly used in rompin waters)... It's a 6ft butt jointed boat casting rod by Zenith.. The Model is Ramaral.. It's rated to cast lure from 15-40gms, but in my opinion can jig very comfortably up to abt 60-75gms jigs.... Very suitable for local, rompin and even light Tg Pinang work... It's a nice rod with strong backbone... Have landed a cobia up to 12kg on light jig with this rod... A new rod from Anglers Hut is selling at $450, am willing to let go for a low price of $225 (I have too many rods at home) Do let me know if u r interested and wish to view, I can be contacted at 9387 6086.. Best regards, Vincent | |
