My Mood:  Rep Power: 6   | Loomis & Franklin Brought 3 friends to 2000Tackle sometime last week as they were looking for rods/reels. They bought 3 L&F spin rods which looked pretty decent for about S$60. Its grip area is fashioned like the Daiwa Saltiga jig/pop rods and the butt section has a woven graphite finish. Had a feel of the rod when my friends snagged up at the beach and I'm totally convinced these are strong enough for light popping at Rompin! Can't recall if they were 7 or 8 footers but I'll get you guys the exact model/specs soon! |

Mark, Not sure but i guess it's the trend nowadays. Anglers like to try out different styles. I have use 14ft telescopic surf rod that bend into a 'C' shape on a 20kg plus ray. Not weird but fun actually. | |
