Hi stickbom!,

Yes, I am refering to the same model same year of manufacturing Twinpower 8000 series.

But some told me that HG & PG gear ratio are different therefore their spool is not exchangable ? True ?

Thank You

Hi,

I believe the difference is only in the gears found in both the reels. The spool will not affect the original ratio of the gears. So i guess, u can interchange the spool on both reels.

I might be wrong thou.

Eeyore the spools can be swapped around. No problem. By changing 2 gears in a HG reel you can actually change it into PG speed. Tried it before on other reels.
