My Mood:  Rep Power: 4 | Mikey, THATS what I call SOLID glass dude.... Interesting isn't it that solid glass is used by these guys.... Even more interesting is the total absence of roller guides.... Kahar would bust a nut   over that Bluefin they landed dude.... crazy fish man...Just as a comparison, even Kahar was impressed  with the Calstar Unlimited that came with the big Duel the other day.....The other rods from these guys are pretty interesting too... wonder if they are in-house blank makers or subcon it out. My Mood: Rep Power: 6 | Not sure if the blanks are "sub-conned" but my friend did tell me Alpha Tackle is very famous for their bottom fishing rods when he knew I wanted a Alpha Tackle popping rod many many years back. Yeah it does seem that rollers ain't that popular with the Japanese anglers.  |
