Re: Fly Bling

Yo Mikey....... Sure makes that 500,000yen Daiwa game reel look like a bargain huh ..... at least that is 2 speed & has a lever drag. I've always contended that fly fishos are bigger 'hos than regular fishing folks. Imho, hi end fly tackle manufacturers sure know how to make big bucks selling rods made out of tek ko & 1:1 ratio reels full of holes often requiring a gloved hand for drag ..... and what about fly line, some of variants make Japanese PE line sound cheap ....

Yo Layman ...... look through the Hardy website & I'm sure they will have an equally obscenely priced rod just to match this teel

Re: Fly Bling

Hahahaha.... Mak, before I do that, let me check how much i can re-coup from selling all my tackles first

but I do like the description provided in hardyusa site
"Titanium is self-healing. Scratch it and the raw metal oxidizes in minutes. Because titanium is inert, nothing can rust it. If you threw it to the bottom of the Florida Keys and left it there for thirty years and then retrieved it, it would be like new once you’d scraped off the barnacles."

what can i say... imagine the possibilities... can dive and fish at the same time or jigging in a shark cage!! always curious how different types of fish take the bait or lure

hmmm.... when will we get spinning or overhead reel that can boost the above
