| Super Moderator | Cheap SW spinning reel Looks cool... dunno where can get BANAX GT Series Features GT design is the result of advanced engineering. Rigid aluminum construction keep internal parts in perfect alignment under the heaviest loads-so you get less wear, excellent winding power, and that unmistakable feel of quality * Power metal construction * Brass pinion, brass drive gear * Convertible sound/ silent system * Rigid aluminum machined handle with soft power handle knob * Machined line slider * Aluminum forged spool GT 2000 4.8:1 3BB 568g 0.35/290 0.40/190 14lb/315 17lb/205 GT 3000 4.8:1 3BB 578g 0.35/320 0.40/240 14lb/350 17lb/260 GT 4000 4.7:1 3BB 665g 0.40/300 0.45/220 15lb/274 18lb/200 GT 5000 4.7:1 3BB 680g 0.45/270 0.50/220 18lb/246 20lb/200 |

Rep Power: 4 ![]() | Mike, What is the price for the biggest reel? I just feel that the crankarm nearer to the power handle is wee bit slim to take the bending stress; but do keep us update on its performance. Cheers & have a good trip |

| Moderator | Have U guys considered the Shimano Spheros 12000FA and 14000FA?? They are capable of landing a GT or 2. All metal contruction, 4 bearings. 22lb of drag pressure and enough cranking power. Only mods is replace the bush on the main gear with a bearing, possible drag washers to better quality ones (after the stock ones are worn out) and maybe a stella handle + knob upgrade?? In Aus, they sell for $250aud and with all the above mods...$400 hon-su |

| Super Moderator | I can see a 98' Stella stytle rotor on the Spheros... should be very rigid. You mentioned Stella handle... is that the 98' handle as well |
