Mike,
What is the price for the biggest reel? I just feel that the crankarm nearer to the power handle is wee bit slim to take the bending stress; but do keep us update on its performance.

Cheers & have a good trip

Have U guys considered the Shimano Spheros 12000FA and 14000FA?? They are capable of landing a GT or 2. All metal contruction, 4 bearings. 22lb of drag pressure and enough cranking power.

Only mods is replace the bush on the main gear with a bearing, possible drag washers to better quality ones (after the stock ones are worn out) and maybe a stella handle + knob upgrade??

In Aus, they sell for $250aud and with all the above mods...$400

I can see a 98' Stella stytle rotor on the Spheros... should be very rigid. You mentioned Stella handle... is that the 98' handle as well
