My Mood: Rep Power: 6 ![]() ![]() | A blast from the past- True Temper Boat Rods "Suaning" Mikey has got me in a nostalgic mood These are pictures of old True Temper boat rods my dad use to use on his regular SCS trips. Solid fibreglass, proudly made in the U.S.A. Both the rods are close to 40 years old The one in black, the True Temper "Mohawk" I believe has been touched up a little (new AFTCO Aluminium butt added), this rod was bought from Siow Chiang. The other piece is a 30lb trolling rod my mother brought back from the U.S.A. is in it's original condition Don't think True Temper U.S.A. exists today but year or so ago, I chanced upon some Made in Malaysia True Temper rods in a KL tackle shop. Guess someone in Malaysia has "revived" the brand. ![]() |

My Mood: Rep Power: 6 ![]() ![]() | Yo Edy, They used to be paired up with Penns dude and they have way too much sentimental value to wreck on a Dogtooth Tuna tight lines |
