Rep Power: 5  | The Wrath of Anglers June 19, 2006 Cheated anglers dump car into sea KANGAR (PERLIS) - ANGRY anglers dumped a car into the sea on Saturday after they did not get the prizes promised in a lucky draw of a fishing competition. Some 3,000 anglers had earlier been vying for a Proton Gen 2, motorcycles, vacation trips and cash prizes totalling RM30,000 (S$13,000) at Kuala Sungai Baru, Kuala Perlis. At the prize presentation ceremony, there were no cars or motorcycles. The anglers then demanded a refund of the RM40 they had each paid to take part. When this was not met, some of them pushed a car belonging to one of the officials into the sea.
