Where to fish for this in Singapore?
Hi,

I am interested to fish for this small fish ... It is called Kitang. Anyone wanna go for Kitang Hunting session?

My buddy Layman reckons we can catch a ton of Kom Kor at a kelong off Elias park. I've been there before and the owner only charges $20 for a full of fishing on his kelong. Wanna try?

If i not wrong. Changi waters oso have this fish swimming around. you can try CBW. cast towards the middle sea rock. you might get many other biggies.

Leopard Scat or kitang packs a nasty sting in the spines. But to eat it is simply enak. Brings back memories of my missionary days at Tg Balai Karimun, fishing for them with bread.

I've seen lots of big ones at the kelong poles and jetty pilings at Lim Chu Kang. SAFYC Sembawang has small ones the size of $1 coins at the ramp and along pontoons. Good for Aquariums - they eat up the algae, but no good for consumption, even the bigger ones as Sembawang shipyard is next door, and antifouling paint contains lots of nasty ingredients which get ingested by these grazers.
