That is easy. Click on the profile at the top of the forum and scroll down.

There is an option for you to upload your avatar (Make sure the size is small enough)

    Cheers,
    Edy

I am very excited to announce that Dafrogman (Saimee) has accepted my invitation to be the moderator for Rods and Reels and Bottom Basher sections.

With his tremendous knowledge on both topics we would be able to learn alot from him.

Let's welcome Saimee to the team

    Dank You, Dank You...

Edy, am glad to help out, but of course, we still really need Mikey in Rods & Reels since he is afterall a Tackle Holic..... and his knowledge of JDM products (an area I have great deficiencies in) is beyond reproach ...

My only question is why my GrandMaster Guru Makaira is not at the very very least a co-moderator in the Rod & Reel section.... I reckon his knowledge of Game Reels is pretty unrivalled amongst our merry little FO band...

C'mon Mak, jump aboard and play dude.

Anyway, thanks guys, glad to be aboard.

    Kamsan,

Thanks dude, my little crew are fine and the missus is good too, but a tad overworked. How are your kids and especially your missus?. Is she fully recovered now?.

I note that Team Sepak is still going strong under your steady hand.
    :P

    Best Regards,

    Saimee

    Re: Welcome our new Mod!

    Alan,

A very warm welcome to Fishing Outing dude. As John(Sportfisherman) said, your reputation preceeds you and I for one hold you as the benchmark in making the best posts on reel maintenance.

We welcome you to our little corner of the online fishing world and I am real happy to have someone as knowledgeable as you carrying forward the reel maintenance and schematics section. I also understand through personal experience, the amount of time and effort it takes to make these posts and to organise your thoughts and methods so others can understand them.

    Edy,

If I might suggest something, could we have a separate subforum for Alan's maintenance and modifications/tuning posts so that we can consolidate the amazing amount of info he has to offer from the tons of posts he has made in other forums around the world.

Anyway, good to have you on board matey.

    Best Regards,

    Saimee

    Hi Saimee,

That is a very good idea
What should call the new section?

    Reel Maintenance and Tuning?

    Edy,

How about "Maintenance, Rebuilds and Tuning"..... Just update Alan on it so he can have a a dedicated corner for his maintenance and rebuild.

I might like to add that I believe that Alan is not a full time Reel Doctor, (i.e. he has a "Real" full time job) so all the work that goes into the stuff he posts is done after hours (like you Edy ) and it only highlights his dedication to helping anglers around the world better understand their equipment.

Great Stuff lets set it up dude.
