Re: Unofficial skipper course

Just adding some disclaimer notes

1) This is not an official MPA course though I hope they accept it in the future as not many power boat license holders(including new boat owner) knows enough to skipper a boat

2) Course will only enhance your boating knowledge/exposure/safety & not liable for misinterpretation or misadventures.

Brief structure
Basic care/maintenance for boat/outboard/engine/auxilliaries
Understanding/application of tide/tidal streams table for different location
Brief intro/function for GPS/Finder/chartplotter/Radar/Autopilot/Magnetic compass
Knowing more abt sea charts co-relating to fishing (finding prospective spots)
Navigation techniques
Anchoring techniques
Safety at sea for fishing boats

Upon completion of course, one should have gain enough knowledge on prospective fishing spots & able to find their own spots after investing appropriate time/efforts.

No fishing spots will be given at end of course
