Exclamation Typhoon Season is Upon Us .......

The seas to the east of the Philippines has spawned the first of the season 01W named Kong-Rey. It looks like it could be a big one. Fortunately for us, it's predicted path sees her making a turn away from the SCS where many anglers will probably be at fishing over the coming long weekend. However, we will never know if she decides to make another turn.

Re: Typhoon Season is Upon Us .......

Mak,

Yup, I got the warning yesterday. I reckon this one should not get much further than Saipan, but like you said "Ya Never Know". In any case it does not look as bad as a few others that whacked the Philippines last year.

Hopefully it will just cause a high pressure zone to park over the SCS and we get some okish weather. Local and Malaysian forecasts still seem optimistic.

Stay safe everybody.

Saimee
