| Moderator | Re: TORSA left side plate Dude, Sorry I missed your post. I have not been able to find an online Shimano parts retailer. Penn parts are easy, but Shimano... NOT. I suggest you order through the local agent, then at least you can be sure you will get the right part. You could also ask for help from retailers like Bluewater in Australia or even try going direct to Shimano USA or OZ for the parts. There is Shimano rep under the nickname Bantam 1 in the Allcoast forum who has been helpful to me in the past. Try sending him a PM. Regards, Saimee

| Moderator | Re: TORSA left side plate Yes dude, I do use a light coating of reel-x or grease applied with a paintbrush if my reel goes into storage or after I finish servicing the reel. Its been my experience that the best way of preventing corrosion is to keep the reel clean of salt, so washing and drying the reel is an important step before you put it into storage. BTW SGD95 for the sideplate would be about right. I seem to recall being charged SGD85 or something close to that for a Kaikon 4000 sideplate. Regards, Saimee
