Re: Tg. Pinang on April needs advice

Hi black,

Hook size 2/0 for day and maybe 4/0 for night. Hook size very much depends on the bait size.

Bring a couple of size 8, 12 and 18 sinkers.

Use apollo right when the current is not running and ranggong with long leader when there is swift current.

Leader size about 60 pounds is enough. Personally i prefer to use Fluoro Carbon leader like Seaguar (size 16 for day and size 20 for night)

Any fishing reel with 300M line and at least 5kgs drag is enough. You might want to spool in 50pound class braided line.

As for jigging, from 130grams to 200 grams ... but usually i will stick with 130grams (depends on the current) I have managed to get bonito, big eye jack and cobia on jigs in Tg Pinang before.

Hope this is helpful.
Cheers,
Edy
